Death Mask


SYNOPSIS:

Xena has never forgotten that when the warlord Cortese destroyed her village many years before, he tore her life apart and set her on her previous path of destruction. Now that she's located him, she is ready to make him pay when she discovers that one of his men is her brother Toris who has infiltrated the warlord's band. Gabrielle, Xena and Toris uncover a plot that leads all the way to the palace, proving that the King and Cortese are one and the same. When Toris finally gets the chance to avenge his brother's murder, he realizes that such an act would make him no better than Cortese and thanks Xena for freeing him from the past. He encourages Xena to come home with him, but she says that her path lies in another direction.
